田中照也准教授らは、核融合炉の先進液体金属ブランケットの運転環境を、液体金属燃料増殖材である液体リチウム鉛合金を用いた高温熱流動実験で再現することに成功しました。
核融合炉液体金属ブランケットの電磁ブレーキ効果の抑制へ- 保護性α-Al2O3膜が異常酸化現象を克服 -
田中照也准教授らの研究チームは、FeCrAl合金が保護性α-Al2O3膜を形成する際に引き起こす異常酸化現象の原因を特定し、その改善策を見出しました。
